Does what it's supposed to. Good battery charge life. Can't beat it for the price.
i was not told of the shipping cost advert states free shipping unable to cancell orderdid not finalize transactionnot happytom
I've always told my kids buy the best you can afford and you won't be disappointed. It was a whole lot more than I paid for this piece of junk.
Disappointed doesn't even come close. This unit has never been able to hold a charge since day one.
I bought this drill to replace my 25 year old Craftsman 9.6v for which they no longer make batteries. I finally sucked it up and bought a Makita 6260 9.6v.
Don't let it sit over night without recharging. It won't have any power in the morning.
But then again, you get what you pay for. I finally listened to myself.
Purchased from Lowes at a reasonable price, this drill should contain a warning label: FOR LIGHT USE ONLY.My first project involved drilling small holes into oak window boxes for blinds. No problem. My second project involved drilling larger holes (1/4") into wall tile for a new shower curtain rod. Oh my God. After trying a titanium bit followed by a masonry bit, I finally got through the tile with a carbide bit but nearly burnt out the motor in the process (and drove myself to exhaustion with the pressure I needed to apply).I am not a heavy user of power tools but if you cannot drill a simple hole in a bathroom tile, fuggedaboutit.
good price and i used it for everything in my place.mounted IKEa furniture and i charghed battery only the first time 2 motnh and is still working good without the need to put in charge every time
